Orphanage Emmanuel in Guaimaca, Honduras
One of our hygienists, Becky, travels to Orphanage Emmanuel in Guaimaca, Honduras every year to clean the teeth of disadvantaged children. She travels with a team that provides dental and medical services and also performs other needed tasks, such as building a boy’s dorm this coming year.
Recently, the orphanage became home to 92 new children who had been forced from their previous home by a catastrophic fire. Many of them are malnourished, have special needs, and are on medications. Orphanage Emmanuel now houses 573 children, many of them in desperate need of adequate food, clothing, tender loving care and Jesus’ touch. With your help, the orphanage can continue to aid these abandoned children.
